Going back to desh.. Are my savings enough ? Please read and respond if you can..

I am following catdog etc etc's post for long time. I am not really sure why this person is spending so much time to send us back home. I assume that he/she is a secret agent for our govt's "anti-brain drain" plan and working very hard for it.

What happens to folks who have already been interviewed due to Retrogressing back 98!

patpat, as I said earlier, do not worry! I know that you will definitely worry for your case. I know people in bigger offices like boston, newark and new york where people have to wait for 6 months to get the card. Ask people in Newark thread how long it took for them to get welcome notices...

What happens to folks who have already been interviewed due to Retrogressing back 98!

patpat and akmount, I thought I will put some input in this. Your EAC number for 485 will still show that your file is still in Hartford/Newark and that number is not valid anymore for your status after your transfer. So when you call the national number they will say that they do not have any...

Interview : Transferred to HARTFORD, Connecticut

I think you can do that if you have plenty of time in hand. But anything can be done to get this headache out of the head, right? Try to meet that officer who took your interview. If you know his name, you can ask for him directly. See, the main problem is that a lot of officers were...

Interview : Transferred to HARTFORD, Connecticut

thanks akmount. Did you hear anything about your case yet? If not, I will suggest that you go to hartford office again, go to rm 421 and ask for the officer and talk to him. Nothing may happen and you may not even be able to see the officer, but take a chance because you never know. Also...

Interview : Transferred to HARTFORD, Connecticut

akmount, FBI does the name check, it is done just once for the whole process. For that result, you need to contact david hardy. FBI takes longer time to answer email, but that process is very fast too. Finger print results are sent on the same day. There is a number for that too to call and get...

I called the national number today and they said that they did not receive the approved file yet, so they have no information whether my case is approved or not. I had to wait 1 hr in phone as...
