    Self Help - J1-Waiver transfer

sponsored or not is the difference nobody really knows how these rules are applied to physicians that serve a specific commitment in time. however, in general the difference is: EB2-with LC- is psonsored by an employer, so the basis for the GC is that you will take the job that you were...

    NIW in subspeciality after fellowship

specialist NIW I believe you may be wrong about the "specialist PSA" the initial USCIS memorandum did appear to suggest this, however the subsequent direction for adjudication seemed to correct this and include all under served areas. i am completing my waiver at a site that does not qualify...

after 5 years, what are the opitions?

we have discussed this before, but i'm not clear if anyone came up with a definite answer. once 5 years are over for an NIW physician and the I140 is approved, what are the options? change location? change employer? change nature of work? (research, consulting, industry, administration etc)...

what does the LC say? if it simply says physician, you will still be a physician in fellowship. also if you have an open offer to return to your employer- and do so on getting GC , maybe you will be fine- GC is for a future job. i think i saw siskind comment on his blog once that a fellowship...
