Nobody asked us for Photo id at Boston Service Center. If you have your EAD that is also a form of ID. But I dont remember if it has the address.
Best of luck

If you use AP to enter the US, then your H1 will become invalid. You can then work with your EAD only. You and your wife both will be in parole status. You cannot use your H visas.
On the other hand you can stamp your H1 in a nearby Consulate, wherever you are going and maintain the status...
I think it depends on the officer. My in-laws applied for visitor visa when I was in AOS stage. They got 10 year multiple entry. This is the first time they are applying for a visa.
Please also check the B visa forum, for other cases of approvals and denials.

Yes. One can sponsor their parents when they are in the AOS stage. Send them the I-485 receipt copy. EAD and AP copies if available can also be produced.
You can get further info from http://www.immihelp.com/visas/visitor/sponsordocs.html
Good luck

Yes mine was concurrent filing. My I 140 was cleared long back. In bjsp's case both I140 and I485 were adjudicated together I suppose. His lawyer must have received the I 140 approval notice, if that is the case. He can only clarify that.
Good luck

Our I 485s were approved on Apr 29th and we received the notices on May 5th. We stamped our passports on May 7th. The online case status was never updated with the approvals. Today my son's online case status says that the card was ordered on May 7th. However mine and my spouse's status remains...

Usually the online status updates immediately. But even after stamping my whole family's status is not yet updated. I doubt if it will ever be. Till now all my applications were duly updated. I dont know why these are not.

Stamping done
We stamped in Boston BCIS office. Procedure was very simple. Reached the building at 7 and entered the office by 7:20. Had our fingerprinting and signing done. Waited for our turn. The lady checked our papers.
1. The original approval notice Courtesy copy will also do I think)...

Thanks. I don't know if its because of the new memo. I applied for my wife's 2nd EAD on Apr 19th. This should have triggered the approval. Atleast I guess so.
Good luck

My status is not updated online. I got the approval notice direct. Still it says the same receiving fingerprints etc. So your scan would have not shown any new approvals.
Mine is a straight forward case. Not an IT guy - Mech Engineer. My PD is 01/03/02. LC was approved at Boston...
Thank you guys. Yes I am a concurrent filer. I got an RFE on I 140 and got it approved in 3 months. However at that time many who applied with me got their I 140 approved before me. You can see the details in the 2003 xl tracker in the Vermont I 140 forum. May be I was not that lucky then.
