I received couple of email messages from USCIS saying "Card Production ordered" on both mine and my wife's I-485. Its been a long journey but finally got the good news.
Here is my long story short:
I had come to US in 1997 on a F1 visa. Graduated with honors in 1999. Started working...
My PD is current and also my Processing Date for I-485 is current. I had called the USCIS customer service and opened a SR for my case (Outside Normal Processing Times). I received an email confirmation of my request. The email confirmation said that my case is currently waiting assignment to an...

I-140 Approved
I just looked up on USCIS online and found that my I-140 is approved on March 19th 2009. Hope and pray that USCIS got the correct PD (July 23, 2003) and category (EB2) on it.
My I-140 is beyond normal processing time. My lawyer had opened a Service Request yesterday. How long does it normally take to receive a response after a service request is initiated? Thanks.

It may be the best option.

I did have similar experience and after going through all the options...
Call the Service Center

2. Take an Infopass appointment and request them to expedite the case as it is longer than the USCIS processing times (90 days)
3. Contact USCIS Ombudsman
4. Contact your...
