thanks
Many thanks, Triple Citizen. You are right. I phoned the Deferred Inspection CBP and was told to calculate 180 days for B2, no need for my parents to go to the custmer again. It is a big relief to me. Again, thanks.
Hi, what is the answer and solution for this question? My parents got in through JFK yesterday and had no valid until date on their I-94s and passports. Do I need to do anything about it? Or just take it as standard 6months/180 days?
My card arrived on July 10. Not too bad, over all. There was no complication in our I-485s, only that we waited for two years and three cards arrived at very different times. I greatly appreciate the help from this forum. Thanks. Wish everybody good luck.
Photom, what you experienced is really...

Photom, that's unbelievable! What a story, what a journey. I never heard of anything like that before.
I was about to go for another infopass. But just got two emails on June 27 and June 29 with "Card Production Ordered". I am crossing my fingers. Hope I will get the card next week.
eb2007,
If you plan to travel out of state, go to the infopass and get the stamp. If you want to make sure that your case did get approved, you may also go to the infopass to double check (this is what I did). Otherwise, I think it is OK to wait.
Cheers
eb2007,
Congrats!! I filed my case before you, and I am still waiting.
I got the approval notice email 4/29/09 and mail 5/1/09. But no card yet, and no email etc.
My spouse got the approval notice mail 5/5/09, email notice for the card production ordered 6/2/09 and card mailed 6/4/09, and...
berkeley2009, oh, forgot to comment your role of reviewer. To claim "the judge of others' work", you need to be a regular reviewer for some journals. You may not need to be on the editorial board, but you need to be a regular reviewer. For that, you need to get letters from the chief editors...
berkeley2009,
Your case is good for EB1A. However, you need to present your case well. What cerruti2827 said is very true.
Only 8 papers published may look weak. You need to emphasize the high quality of the journals as well as your papers, to claim the criteria "significant...
Yap, my spouse's case received two emails: the first one says Card Production ordered on June 2nd, the second one says Card mailed on June 4. But no message for me. We haven't gotten any mails so far.
My son got his Green Card.
Does he need to apply for his social security card? What are the rules here?
My son currently is using his TIN number for his school and our tax return.
My son got his GC card in September 2008. Is there a time limit for him to apply for the SSN card?
