Card Approved ... I think
Today morning I got a big surprise when I got four emails from CRIS saying that
"On April 10th, We ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. etc etc"
I think it is approval although I never got welcome notice...
local office
Well I dont know the timeline for getting the interview. MY application is with NSC but I had the same RFE about bonafide marriage. I dont know why they ask for it....Your logic makes sense that they should have atleast approved your 485. Well I guess it is waiting game wiat for...
All the best
sperm and explorer1980
You guys are so close to approval. If not for this interview I think they would have approved your cases. Dint one of you had a RFE to prove that marriage was bonafide? I think the cases are transferred for that reason. USCIS wants to see if the marriage...
Congrats GCscare and a question for you
GCScare did you just do the TB test or you did all the test again. Do you have to fill out the whole I-693 form or just the section related to TB test? I had done my test about a year back and I have an RFE for TB test.
Thanks!
Not neccessary
I had a rfe in Septemebr and my name check is still pending. The service center will process your applicatino and keep it ready for adjudication once NC is cleared.
RFE May reach attorney
The RFE goes to attorney on record. So you will keep waiting for the mail and the mail may have reached attorney. Let us know what the RFE is about. I think you may get it today(5 business day)
1-2 weeks I think if PD is current and NC is clear
Hi Harakad
I have extensively browsed this board and have seen that the aproval takes place within 2 week provided PD is current and NC is clear. Do remember though that NSC has some kind of approval processing logic so you might see more...
Congrats LabNotez
Hey congrats....I am in the same boat, Spoke to a NSC officer she said that my case is awaiting assignment to officer and it has been like this for past thre weeks. Dont know what is happening...My RD and PD are similar to yours...MY NC cleared in first week of Feb....Keep us...
Name check
I had my infopass appointment today. I did not do anything to clear it. I had made an inquiry in January through the congressmen and they informed me that my back ground check was not done.
Congrats gcgcusa
Congratulations....It is good to see NSC resuming with approvals. I has a infopassappointment and the security officer told me that my NC had cleared but the processign might take time as my RD had been moved to October. I had filled my 485 around April 20 2006 and had replied...
To contact NSC
Just go a few posts back and you will find a way to contact NSC. I have bookmarked it on my home computer...give a search on the forum and you will get it.
Congrats bcktnd
I guess you got it right in time....Hopefully ours will follow your approval.....I had called NSC on Feb 20th and they said my NC has cleared around 2nd week of FEB(Dont know if I can believe them). She said my application was in process.....Well I know today the NSC will be...
Thats a bummer
Hey Lab Notez
Dont give up man....It was just a bad day....Try after few days maybe you will get a good person who would help you through the maze. The customer reps dont know how anxious we are....I am sure good things are happening with your application..
here is...
why dont you call NSC and speak to them..
I think a better option is just to call them and speak with them. I dont think anyone on the forum can tell you with 100% accuracy. It will all be a guessing game. I am a optimist(inspite of being stuck for a long time) I would say it is positive sign...
NSC operator not giving information
I called up the NSC folks to check if my name check was cleared and she refused to give any information? Is this true with NSC folks or just a bad day and bad timing? I dont call NSC often had contacted them after 4 months....
