Zero Tolerance Have you heard about BCIS being more tolerant about filing deadlines this month due to Hurricane Isabel. I've heard verbally through a colleague but cannot find anything online about it.

My current H1 expired Oct 1, 2003. My company filed for the extension (sent it out on October 1st, 2003), and so the BCIS received it October 2nd, 2003. (Still waiting for receipt). Am I currently out of status since the filing day is one day after the visa expired? What are my...
