How long can my wife stay outside USA on GC, she is currently visiting family and would like to stay for 5 months,

The interview went well, did not ask for company financial information, just 3 months pay stub and company letter about employment.

I had an interview on 25th october, and officer had taken signature on white paper, and had said depends on visa number, What else confirmation do i get from USCIS other then this email, or should i have to wait for the physical GC to arrive at home????

I had an employment based interview on 25th october in Hartford CT, my PD is current which is EB3 india, (PD is Nov 2001), What might be happening, it has been 6 weeks, and still no decision, is this common??

so basically wait for 5.5 years for PD to be current and then again few months, and hope there is no retrogression before the decision....
