Not really, as I hear from TSC that my 485 is assigned to an officer and should hear something in 15-30 days. Don't know why it took so long. I guess just was assigned to not very efficient officer.

Ludhianvi Sahib, I am a veterinary doctor from pakistan, so just a different perspective. If your bro in law is licensed etc, perhaps he can file 140/485 from his employer. There is a national shortage of good licensed veterinarians.

I did. Second was filed in Nov 2004. That one is also pending in DC. I think some one told me they check some information from pak. Since our system in pak is not very good, may take years before any one will respond to any inquiry. I am from lhr

Same here. Two H1b's, premium processing pending since may 2004 in Washington DC HQ. Transferred from TSC. No body able to help or even find out what stage is the file. Same answer, name check, fbi has your file, adminstrative rev, back ground check security check etc etc etc etc
