If changing name will prolong the N-400 process, I rather keep my name as is for now since Newark does the interview & oath at same day. Am I right?

When asking to change name, does that delay the process while the interview/oath taking place at same day? Or to make thing straight forward, it is better not to ask the name change at all during the N-400 process?

I called 800 number this morning and was told that send a letter along with the notice to NSC via fax letting them to know the error.
And I also went to local office by InfoPASS to talk to an officer. Well, from some point, the system has stored the wrong name for a while...
After two 800 number call within a month, I received a welcome notice today, but with misspelled name on it. I am concerning that they will send me a wrong spelling name GC soon. Should call the 800 number to remind CIS before the make the CARD?
