Fax still wored in September. I received reply in about three weeks after I sent fax inquiry.

You can inquire your dependents status in the same inquiry. I did that.

Inquiry will not expedite processing. You don't want to find out who is holding your case? If you want your case to be processed asap, you have to do whatever you can do to help yourself instead of justing waiting.

Check with FBI your name check status I would suggest those who are supposed to fall in pilot program but still have not heard anything from USCIS to check with FBI your name check status. Most likely your case is stuck there.

I didn't know if my name check was pending when I sent inquiry to FBI. As my case should be in pilot program (EB2 current with RD 6/7/04) and it didn't get approved within three months like my colleagure's case did. I wanted to find where my case got stuck.

FP notice was issued on 06/24/04. I sent an inquriy to FBI in early september and found USCIS sent name check requst on 06/22/04.

EB2 concurrent i140/485 approved RD: 06/07/04 AD: 12/01/04 Name checking pending at FBI since 6/22/04. Fortunately it was cleared on 11/18/04 and about two weeks later, 140/485 approved. 485 LUD change on 10/27/04, but personally don't think it means anything. It never changed again...

I just called. The lady I talked to refused to give any info and insisted me calling National Service Center. She has no accent. I was so unlucky!
