My wife applied for H-1 -general category. Her petition was selected in the lottery and Receipt notice ( dated 04/22/2008) has been recieved by our lawyer on 4/26/2008. Waiting for the approval notice. Still showing pending Status online on USCIS website.

my brother in law had the same experience last year and his employers said its OK even though the lastname is misspelt.. he went to Visa in Nov 2007 and had no problems at Consulate.. so I guess its ok. all other docukments and the original petititon is correct spelling.
