Fingerprint review is different than name-check. They will not process your application unless name-check is cleared.

No - you cannot assume anything from LUD changes. I had LUD changes on 4/8 for ALL my applications - including approved EAD, Advanced Parole, I-140 and pending I-485. The only way you know about namecheck is by sending email to csc-xii.485@dhs.gov and waiting for the reply. Keep sending...

No - no such restriction. At worst they will just ignore your email if you send them too frequently. That 120 days number is just false information. You can choose to wait if you want to, though ;)
