Usually attorney and company hold on to the immigration paper work for the employees - be sure to ask attorney for I-94 copy from your paper work for 'first' H1B. If out of luck in both the places, check with university and see if they have a copy or record or your presence in the university...
Your qualification and experience before you joined the company (if it is for a different position exp with in the company may count??) counts but not necessarily what you are currently working on. Also, to qualify for EB2, it is more important that job requirements in Labor/perm filing should...
This is what I see online, but I do not think there is anything special about it, it probably only reflects that data entry is finished in 6/7. Even my I485 had LUD of 6/7 till FP is done.
All the LUDs I have so far (since I started tracking)
I485: 6/7, 7/5 (FP date), 7/6
AP: 6/7, 7/2, 7/3...

If it helps.. both myself and my wife didn't even carry passports with us when we went for FP last week.
My details in signature...
Looks like the receipt notices are getting delayed for applications received towards the end of June. My colleagues application was received (fedex) around june 20th and his checks are not cashed yet. We can track the 'general' progress of the applications, notices...
Lets count how many I485s were filed i.e., received by Service Center in June '07. Since a lot of pending cases were cleared, we can use this new set of cases to predict cut-off date moment (do we really??) in the next fiscal year.
Since this thread is not sticky.. it would help if folks post...
