My I-140 is still pending. The receipt is from March 23, 2007 and the application was based on EB-2.
I don't know what to do. On April 28, 2008 my employer sent a letter to USCIS but we never got a response.
Should I schedule an appointment at the local Immigration Office?
My receipt date is March 23, 2007 and according to the USCIS website they are working on applications received on May 5 or 7. It has been almost two months after my receipt date. Should I start worrying?
I am aware that the USCIS wouldn't even talk to me and I have to ask my employer...
I have an appointment for the interview on October 29, however my I-140 is still pending. Is it usual? My I-140 was filed in March 2007. Can they denied my I-485 on the basis that I-140 was not approved yet?
Thanks
First of all, my I-140 is still pending but it looks that I-485 is
moving a lot, lol. I thought that they would wait for the decision
on I-140.
Anyway, I have a few questions and I would appreciate if someone
could give me some answers.
1. I am applying for myself and my 15 years old...
It looks that I have some more bumps on the road :-).
I have I-140 ready to be sent and I wonder if I can send it now and then send I-485/I-765 later?
I have just noticed that I need a translation for my birth certificate. I was born in Poland. Does anyone know any Polish/English...
Actually, I have several questions.
I got certified back in September of 2006. Presently, we are sending the I-140. My lawyer disappeared into a thin air, so I am the one who has to do it.
These are my questions:
1. What evidence of financial situation of the employer should be...
I am aware that it takes longer to get the TN-1 extension by mail. However, I am worried because I sent my application over 3 weeks ago and USCIs didn't even cash the checks. In the past, they did it very fast.
Thanks. I feel much better now.
Can you tell me also some more about RFE?
I hold a master's degree and I work for the municipal government. Do you think my employer will be maybe less scrutinized than a privately owned business?
My LC was certified on August 31 and I got a notice two weeks ago. I know that I have to apply for I-140 (actually my emplorer does it) and I-485/765.
However I am on Tn-1 visa which expires on November 20, 2006. Should I apply for extension of TN first? I am aware that it takes up to 5...
I checked the processing times at the Center in Vermont (I understand that TN-1 renewals have to be sent to VT now) and it shows that they are reviewing the applications with the receipt date April 23.
Ditto to that. I don't see anything wrong with Mona's question either. As a matter of fact, I asked the same question on another thread. I just wonder if the new bill could speed up things for me. And I AM LEGALLY here.
I am sure that everyone heard about the new immigration bill. I wonder if it will change anything for legal aliens. According to the new bill, illegals will be able to get two visas for 3 years each and then get the permanent residence.
I wonder how about people who are here legally? I...
I am sure that this question was answered on this board but I cannot find it.
I have been presently on TN-1 since November 1999. I renew my visa and so far I had no problems. In the meantime my employer filed for a LC, however it seems that there are problems (it's a long story!). It seems...
Thanks.
As far as I know, Santos got a letter in January. He faxed me a copy. He also told me that he would send a response, however I think that he didn't, knowing that he was not licenced to practice law in Texas anymore. I cannot even locate him and ask. I have read somewhere that a...
I have a big problem. My employer has sponsored me for the permanent residence.
In 2001 I contacted a lawyer, A.G. Santos in Houston Texas and he filed for the Labor Certification. The application was received in August 2003 and then it was sent to the Backlog Center in Dallas. In January...
