Got fired from my J1 waiver position, what do i do?

i would not worry about the non compete clause at all, just go to the hospital where you had privileges and talk to the administrator or other people in position of hiring, i am sure they would be able to employ you. or go to the near by hospitals where you can hopefully work out a deal. first...

niw or hib peds job in ca

Do you plan to maintain your H1b status or just work on EAD after you have finished the NIW 5 year commitment and moved to a new year. Also are you continuing to work in an underserved area or fully served area? What happens if someone has not maintained H1b status and is on EAD, and his/her...

    7th year extension H1b

Is it true that labor cert related I 140 has to be filed and pending before the 6th year of H1b for 1 year H1b extensions to be obtained indefinitely. Or can the NIW related I 140, I 485 can be used to get those H1b extensions beyond the 6th year.

interfiling Glad to have hadron's opinion on the situation. scenario is this to get labor cert to I 140. NIW to I 140 - approved, I 485 pending. to link labor cert I 140 to I 485 from NIW. Lets say this interfiling is denied, what happens to the applicants status then. can one file...

NIW for Physicians - Steps to do it yourself.

oh another important thing is that if you do sign a new 5 year contract, have a 60-90 days no cause termination clause in it for either party. It is of critical importance, otherwise you could get stuck for 5 years. The other option is to do a job in NIW friendly states like Connecticut...

NIW for Physicians - Steps to do it yourself.

your 5 year time will be from the time you start the job. there should not be any doubt about that. check out this website. http://uscis.gov/graphics/services/residency/physwaiver.htm As you know that you will need a new letter of support from MI dept of health supporting your NIW...

NIW for Physicians - Steps to do it yourself.

Are you in J1 visa status. If so, you need to check with the MO state dept. of health whether they will issue you a letter of support for NIW if you have completed a J1 waiver in a different state. That is obviously true for any state where you might consider moving to. I know that CO and MO...

NIW for Physicians - Steps to do it yourself.

looks like you are in missouri state. lets hope that USCIS recognizes that you have completed your 5 years in an underserved area from the start of J1 waiver. Although some states like missouri require a 5 year contract to issue a letter of support.

move to another VA job while on J 1waiver

i believe its just H1b transfer, and there is no problem filing for H1b tranfer at all. one can have as many H1bs as one likes. all you need is a employer willing to sponsor.

inter filing Is it possible to use I 140 approval from labor cert, and combine it with I 485 from NIW to obtain Green Card. Are there any risks in doing this. My NIW based I 140 is approved and I 485 is filed. I 485 processing date seems to be current. The present processing date is 6/25/05.
