Thanks Jackolantern! I've already put it in a fireproof safe! I want to thank you for putting up with my questions and for your help. I sincerely appreciate everyone here on this board.
I seriously appreciate the advice of everyone here, you guys know a ton more about all this than me. Today was a combination of a couple of nice people who wanted to go above and beyond to be nice, and the good Lord above. Thanks for putting up with my questions.
Hey I wanted to update. The infopass appointment went great! Everyone was so nice! They produced the COC for me while I waited and were just wonderful. So I have the coc!
Thank you everyone and I'm sorry for all questions, I didn't know what to expect but it went great.
Thanks again!

I'm gonna keep the appointment. I'm driving up tonight to spend the night with a relative in Louisville. I have never had an infopass meeting. Literally no idea what to expect. Are the meetings usually in office rooms with a desk etc., is it appropriate for me to shake hands and say nice to meet...
I'm sorry guys, I really am. Between my moms cancer and everything I've let myself get really anxious about taking care of this coc. I apologize if I've been redundant and stuff on the posts about this, just helps to have some people to talk to about it who have been through similar processes...
I know ive ran this topic in the ground, but i am out of my element with all of this and i just wanna do the best i can.
I'm gonna be super nice and pray they are. Hopefully there will be someone who is willing to take a moment from their day to help me.
Maybe even someone nice enough to let me...
Thanks. I'm really nervous. I'm gonna be very nice and I hope and pray they are. Pray that it will be someone who is willing to take a moment from their day to help me.
On another note, the first letter said "you will be notified under separate notice regarding decision of your application"...
By doing the infopass it makes me at least feel like I'm doing something except waiting on the mailman every day. My Mom has uterine cancer so I know the feeling of just sitting and not being able to help. Honestly, it won't hurt anything if I do the infopass will it?
Agreed. I'm freaking out. Can't help it. Seems kinda random that they mailed out the 2nd letter the day after my envelope supposedly arrived there. That can't me a total coincidence can it. By the way when you call the uscis customer service line, they don't connect you with someone at the local...
I really don't mind the drive if they can give me some piece of mind. Shouldnt they be able to tell simply if they received our envelope last week that contained the green card and signed photos?
