I have same problem MY RD is 02-09-2007 still pending background check also got lud on 08/05/07 have some friends with same issue who ever filed in feb and march 2007 they have just put there files a side and labled them background check but actually they are sitting in uscis office backyard...

I-140 is for primary so you will get only one RN number but you will get 2 RN for I485 one for your wife and one for yourself and if you applied for AP and EAD you will get RN for them too for both you and your wife

you will not losse your H1-b status I am in the same boat my I-140 and I-485 are pending and i have AP and EAD i asked my lawyer about this and he said one can only loose h-1b Status if you use EAD with same emplyer you are on H1-b ,so if you travelling its best to use AP and keep you H1-b...

My case is also not a labor substitution case but a PERM certified case I called TSC then they gave me number to call PP Dept and PP dept told me that its on hold for security check , he was very rude Also told me that it can takes couple months to couple years

Congrats SSP123 But in my case i just got one LUD 08/05/07 and i think most of us had LUD on 08/05/07 only may be you are the lukcy one. but i did call TSC and they said they are dealing with jan 2007 files my Recipt date is Feb 9th . I wish everyone get an Approval email soon
