I had asked for FP reschedule. They gave me one and denied saying I didn't ask for one. Contradictory!! Filed MTR with necessary proof indicating a clerical error.

CP was ruled out as I invoked AC21. So, MTR was the only option. I filed it 2 weeks ago and recieved 485 approval mail. With regards to spouse travel, hope F2A progression continues.
As CP is ruled out, I have to reopen 485. In that case, when 485 is reopened, there could be 2 outcomes:
* GC is approved immediately as I have given my FPs and PD is current. In this case, I wont be able to travel for marriage. So, hope the rapid progress in F2A continues and apply for spouse...

You could reschedule FP 4-5 times giving you as much as 5 months runway. My lawyer said she did it 5 times for a guy and everytime it was a month apart between each appointment. This is a nice cushion.
oops, with the latest news.. thats a bummer. the 9-12 months gap vanishes in a wink. Does anybody have suggestions on how else to delay? Ginnu, your thoughts.

Personal Experience : Recruitment was done via PERM. Then layoffs happened. Company had to prove that the american workers cudnt do your job. So, they made offers to the laid off ppl. None accepted. This was documented, submitted and PERM approved
