Name change during Citizen process

Has anyone change there first name during the Citizenship process ?
Pls confirm how it went , were there any issues ?
I will be changing my first name only.

You will have to scan the boards, it is unlikely people will come and repeat their experience.

Biggest issue people face is delays in case name check takes longer.
Associated issues are delays in getting a visa back to your previous country.
Last but not the least - the work required to change all your documentation - Social Security, DMV, Banks, Credit Cards, and so on...

It is all doable, but time consuming.

No. If you do a name change, there is no name check on the new name, unless the newly requested name is also in the "other names used" section.

The oath date may be a month or two later, because the name change requires a judicial oath, but the decision and oath letter don't get delayed because the name change request.
