My company filed for a non-waiver, EB1 in March 05. I'm in CA and works in a tech company. This is my first job and my H1 will expire in Sep 2007. Currently no case number, no instruction from DOL yet.
In March 2006, I will have acquired a Masters degree along with 5 years of experience. Does it make sense if I move on to another company and have them apply with PERM? I need to make the move quickly because I need to settle before Sep 06 in order to file for 1-year H1 extension.
I've seen first hand that some big firms managed to get PERM LC in 2-3 months with one of my friends. It seems logical to me that moving on was better.
What would you do?
