I got my GC in Mar 2003. As I am a employee of a multinational company, I am currently working in Canada and this will be for about one year. My salary is being paid in USD and I am making trips back to US every fortnight.
My employer is deducting the US taxes from my salary and I will file my Tax return in USA. Will this have any effect on the five year stay before filing for US Citizenship? Am I considered out of country for this one year?
