Working in Canada while maintaining GC

I am a Canadian citizen with a GC. I am thinking of working in Canada (maybe for the next few years) because of personal reasons.

I plan to maintain an address, bank acc'ts, etc in the US. I plan to drive back and forth between Canada and US. So, I might be able to maintain the 180-day residence rule if they don't count my day in Canada for work.

I know in citizenship applications, you're required to list employment history. Would that be a problem if I show that I work in Canada?

I plan to have at least 4/7 nights where my "head hits the pillow" on the US side.
