When to apply for citizenship

Hi.. I am a permanent resident for the past 6+ years. I would like apply for citizenship. My daughter is 17 + years old. Should I wait until she is 18 to apply for citizenship or it is OK to apply now?

Why wait? It would have been better if you had applied sooner. If you become a citizen (which happens when you take the oath) while your daughter is still under 18, she will automatically become a US citizen. Otherwise, she will have to apply for naturalization herself (if she wants). It's not clear that you have enough time to become a citizen before she turns 18.

My daughter will turn 18 in May 2016. I am ready with all the documentations and supporting documents. Do I have enough time to get it done before that.

It depends on how fast they process. You waited too long. But, give it a go ASAP and if your district is fast, you might make it.

Make sure you comply with all the requirements first, though :)
