Just handover the Yellow Cover given by the consulate along with the Passport

Hand over the passport and the yellow package (Immigration documents) given by the Consulate at the immigration desk of POE. They know what to do and will take care of rest of the things. Best wishes for your CP.

1. Make copy of the visible IV document (DO NOT OPEN THE PACKET).
2. On passport stamping:
   2.1. Make sure A# is clear and same as long number near IV on IV document for every immigrant
   2.2. Make sure date of entry and expiry dates are clear
   2.3. Make sure every applicant (>=14 y/o) signs and gives finger print.
3. Congratulations! you are PR!

Make sure that address on IV document is the one you want cards to be mailed to. Otherwise, tell officer correct address.

What id number on the IV document will appear on green card?

What is the green card number starting with? For example, for my NVC # is MTL-xxx ...
