What happens if one applicant leaves the country-URGENT

Hi,
We applied for B-visa extension for my In-laws with RD 01/15/2003.Current I-94 has validity till Feb 22nd.

If my father-in-law decides to go back India even before we got accept/reject of visa extension, is it going to impact decision of Visa extension for my Mother-in-law?

We appreciate ur help .
