Hello Sir,

I came here to work on the L1 from INDIAN company to USA branch on 6th sept. 2006 and I have supposed to work one year here as my employer communicated me before coming to USA. I have I 94 upto May 2010.

Now client terminated the contract with company and Company is sending me back to INDIA branch.

Is there any employeer responsibility for the employee about this sudden crisis. because employee is suffering from all of this things.

Let me know immediately.

Thanks

The L1 visa holder's employer does not have the responsibility, after end of required work for the L1 employee.

Because L1 employees technically do not constitute new hires that could displace U.S. workers. Rather, a L1 employee is being transferred temporarily within the company to add value or provide expertise based on their international experience with the company. So, the L1 employer does not have to meet some requirements and obligations required for the H-1B employers by the U.S. Labor Department.
