    Hi folks,

My parents' visitor viss is expiring this month. They are in process of reapplying at Mumbai consulate office. Both of them are
60+ years of age. This will be their 2nd renewal of visitor visa. Would they be asked to go for personal interview? or is it exemped for senior citizens? I have heard different things from people. The Mumbai website says all non-immigrant visa applicants need to come for personal interview.

if anyone can provide some light on this confusion, that will be great.

    Your answers are greatly apprecaited.

I would be inclined to believe what the consulate website states.
