Can anyone help me?
I am expecting my j1 waiver approval from DOS next month. My J1 is expiring in dec, 2007. I HAVE FEW QUESTIONS:
1. Can I apply for H4 visa, before i get the final WAIVER approval from USCIS?
2. Once i apply for H4 say in nov or dec,2007, and i guess it will take 3-4 months to get it approved. Can i visit India in january, 2008 without any problem. I mean do i need to restart the H4 application again in India? and also do I need a transit visa if i change plane while travelling to India? As my J1 would have expired by that time.
