What is the validity of an approved I-140? A friend of mine got his 140 approved last August. He had opted for CP but decided to go through his spouse\'s 485. Now his wife got laid off so he\'s thinking of filing for 485 through his GC application. However, since it\'s almost 10 months since his 140 was approved he\'s not sure whether he can apply for his 485. Could anyone provide some info on this please?
