Validity J2

Hi,
I am on a J2 visa. The stamp on passport has an expiry date of aug 08, while the DS-2019 covers the period upto jun 08. When is the last date i should have left the US? Is it is the latter, is there anything i could do to extend the validity since the earliest flight i can get is in August?

DS 2019 / IAP is final

your final validity is what paper says not stamp. By the way you can stay up to 1 month after the expiration of DS 2019 / IAP.Gneraly USCIS dont entertain extensions unless grave problem
