I have been resident since '02 through marriage. In '05 I got my conditions removed. in '08 I got divorced. I have my 10 year permanent resident card. I plan to file for citizenship by the end of the year or next year. My question is, can I re-marry now, and then become citizen later? I am not looking to become citizen through marriage or anything, I know I can become citizen without. But just for the practical reason; can I marry this fall, before I work on becoming US citizen? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. This was very hard to look up without swifting through greencard through marriage stuff.You can marry any time.

yes you can marriage now no issue regarding ur citizenship.
