Travel to PR from Florida: need a passport ?

I am thinking of spending some vacation time in Puerto Rico and I was wondering if I need a passport to go and come back or with my FL drivers licence is enough?

Travel to PR is considered domestic. However, just to be on the safe side, just carry your Canadian passport and TN status I-94 if you can.

Due to the situation in the Caribbean, they do sometimes have immigration spot checks, so take your passport with you.
