Hi all, I calculate I will be eligible to file N400 in March of 2024 i.e. 4 years and 9 months after I received my green card in June of 2019.
For the first 42 months of my LPR status (up to December 2022), I was physically in the US except for about a month that I visited my home country in 2021. Since December 2022, I have been posted overseas for work but my family is here in the US and we own a house.
Below will be my anticipated US presence for the last 15 month until filing
Dec '22 - Feb '23 (3 months) - was overseas
Mar '23 (1 month) - was in US
April - June '23 (3 months) - was overseas
July - Aug '23 (2 months) - will be in US
Sep - Oct '23 (2 months)- will be overseas
Nov - '23 (1 month) will be in the US
Dec '23 -Feb '24 (3 months) will be overseas
Mar' 24 will be in the US and apply at the end of the month
Two questions - do you see any problems for me in meeting continuous residence or physical presence based on my anticipated time in the US?
Second once I apply in March, is there restrictions on how long I can be overseas. I basically plan to continue with my 2 months out, 1 month in thing for the foreseeable future.
