hi all,

Iam a daily commuter to US for work on TN living in Windsor. My US employer is offering me a company car (US plate and registrations) as a benefit they provide to my salary grade level. My question is would I be able to drive this car across the border daily without issues? Do I need any additional paper work. Thanks

Until recently, A Cdn resident is not permitted to drive a US registered car into Canada without importing it (which you would not be able to do unless you own the car). This is why Cdn residents cannot rent a car in US and cross the border with it. It is a holdover from the Autopact. You would be in the same situation.
However, this memorandum has likely changed that situation, as applied to a "commuter" such as yourself, although, in my opinion, your use of the vehicle would be limited in Canada, since leisure driving would not be permitted:

You would need to check with CBSA local office for forms and interpretation.
Another factor: Who is insuring the car; and does that insurance cover driving in Canada and US?
