I am currently a Canadian citizen living in the US, working on a TN visa. My boyfriend and I are discussing marriage within the next year - he is a US citizen. I am considering switching jobs within the next 3 months. Should I reapply for another TN visa or wait and apply for a K1 or K3 visa? What might be the drawbacks of either method? I wish to continue working and residing in the US while going through any application process.
I would like to reassure a potential employer that my visa status is secure and will not cause them any headaches (including expenses).
