TD applying for TN visa after one month of arriving

I got my TN status almost two months ago. The company I am working for would like to hire my wife who is on TD status.
She has all the requirements for TN (Computer Business Analyst): a) 4-year bachelor degree,
b) 12 years work experience c) Canadian citizenship

I have some questions:

a) Having a TD status, could she apply for a TN status?
b) What will be the best port for her to apply? Would The Pearson airport the best?
c) Can she apply by mail?
d) What will happen with her TD status if she gets the TN status?
e) Could her application affect my TN status? She just got here two weeks ago and she already found a job when she is not suppose to work in the US.
f) If she gets rejected, could she come back on her TD status?
g) Once her contract is finished, could she get her TD status back ?

Your help would be appreciated
 
a. Of course.
b. Focus on proper paperwork. Port of entry is not important.
c. Yes, by filing I-129. But this may take awhile and is costly.
d. She loses it, but so what? TD is one of the most useless statuses there is.
e. No. There is nothing wrong with finding work in US, regardless of entry status. It is working without status which is illegal.
f. Of course, she is still married to you, no?
g. See (f).
