tb test after gc in california

hello,
I had gone to india for my gc processing and the doctor had me do the tb test there. everything came out fine , i got my gc and am in the us. However, i have got a letter from the health dept that i have to go and do the tb tests again. What is this? Do I have to do this again? Anyone in the same boat? Please help.

Maybe somebody at your work or social circle has developed TB and they want to test to see if it has spread. Dep't of health and immigration people usually don't speak to each other, so I doubt that is where this is coming from. County health officials tend to freak out when a case of TB is diagnosed.
