Well...I see if my name check will not be cleared soon, I will move to California and ask your congressmen! :)
 
FBI name check

hello friends,
how would I know that my name check is done or not? please let me know. i applied on april 2004. fingerprint done on oct. 2004.

Name check

I find out recently that My name is noot send automatically by TX service center for name check.One officer told me she is going to request for name check.
But how do I know if she requested it or not?
Is there any way to know about that?
Any help will be appreciated,

here is a template:

I went to the church and told the priest about my problem with name check. He introduced me to another person is our church, who was a good friend of the head of the local office of our congressman. That person came to the congressman office with me and asked his friend to help. The head of office said that he knows someone in Washington DC who can have some influence on fbi and will ask to help. Four months later my namecheck was comlpleted. Only god knows was it just my turn or that mystery person in Washington DC helped.

Here are letters to senators that I sent last year. Both CA senators responded: your case is pending and we can't do more for you.

hi bhutu or any friend,

Collect Information

I think we need a more meaningful tracking and record collection. For name check victims, tracking is not that important when compared to solving the real problem. Since any reply from FBI is taking too long time, any meaningful tracking cannot be done.

What I think is that we should collect the following information. We could use the information to make a collective petition to be submitted to Congressmen/Senators.

Can the Administrators help create a page to collect this information securely so that we can generate and mail the signed petitions to Congressmen and Senators?

I think it is a very good idea. FBI Name check completion is completely random so tracking that doesn't make much sense.

Received reply with status pending since Oct 2003.
Faxed FOIPA to FBI on 17th June, 2005.
Received letter from FBI with "no records' on 1st July,2005.
Seding a Expedite request to FBI on 2nd July,2005.

God only know what will happen next. :)

Name check pending since April 2003. My congressman has tried to contact FBI, heard nothing back. My employer contacted another local congressman, probably useless also.
