I have just applied for my citizenship. I got my notice of receipt of application on 12/16/2003. I know it is early days yet, but I thought I should check on status at BCIS website. The BCIS website has no record of my application. Does the file status get activated only after finger printing?
I am queasy because of how INS messed up my I485 app, they had me in their computers as a Chinese National, whereas I am Indian. Well at least it is a good joke to tell my buddies on how the lady at the counter at INS reacted when she asked me whether I was a Chinese National....
