I'm in the process of applying for a marriage-based green card and just got my notice for my AOS interview. Problem is, my husband (who is my sponsor) is currently undergoing cancer treatment and will be incapacitated for at least the next 3-4 months. We are temporarily living on the other side of the country for the treatment so we're not even close to the USCIS center where my interview is scheduled. I know I can request a rescheduling of the interview, but I'm concerned that they will simply push it back by a month or two, and I don't know if there's a limit to how many times I can defer. Does anyone know of any other options in this case? Can I request a remote interview of some sort for my spouse? Any info or suggestions would be much appreciated.
