I came to the US on E3 visa to work for company A, after 6 months I have decided to move on and join company B. I went overseas to get the visa since there is no premium processing for E3. Once I got the passports after the visa was approved, I noticed that my first visa to work for company A has a stamp on it "Canceled without prejudice". The problem is that I still need to serve out 2 weeks notice period at company A.
I have asked attorneys & HR but no one knows the legality of me continuing at company A. Please suggest if you have any knowledge or any suggestions
