Self Attestation

    What is self attestation with regards to OCI documents? Do we have to do this to all copies of the documents? Thank you.

    Self Attestation - Sign them yourself and put the date under your signature.
    Optional part - Write the text "Verified true copy of original" above your signature.

    Yes, do this to all copies. Be ready for some tired fingers :)

    Regarding the signature any comment on what signature to be used. Indian passports had standard signature's, American passports and certificate have the really long name cursive signature. what do we do on self attests and Part A/B. I am leaning towards shorter regular credit card the signatures.
