Hi everyone, I am planning to submit a request to expedite my parents' green card process. I was wondering if anybody has done this before and wouldn't mind to share the experiences.
I filed I-130 and I-485 in late October. No FP scheduled yet. I was told to send a letter to NBC explaining my situation. The primary reason is my dad has serious health problem (Hep C). I can't afford the medical treatment he needs. His doctor is willing to write a letter for us. Once he gets his green card, depending on if I can get him medicaid, he will either stay or go back home for treatment. In addition, I might be accepted for a government job and sent away for training early next year for months. I can't leave my parents at home by themselves since they don't even speak English.
