Question Regarding Sponsoring Wife

Hi,

I recently got my PR card and I got married after that. I am planning to apply for my spouse's PR as a dependent one me. Can somebody tell me what kind of bank balance/ financial statement should I submit? Also, I am currently a student in Canada. Do I need to provide any specific documentation regarding this?

No min. annual salary is required when you are sponsoring spouse however you would have to sign a "leter of sponsorship" stating that you would sponsor your spouse and cover all expenses and that she would not become a public liability . You could send you bank sttament or salary as supporting docs however they are not a limitation ..
