I have been working for my employer for the past 2 years, and thier lawyer is saying that they got a notice saying that the system / dept providing the prevailing wage is down until 10/1/2011?
It was via a notice that they saw, one "noticed said indefinitely" while the other "notice said until 10/1/2011". Thus, they are unable to attain a prevailing wage.
I have been looking on foreignlaborcert.doleta.gov/pwscreens.cfm#prevailingwage and there is no mention of that.
I have been through the press release and I do not see anything along that notice too

I work as a managers in Texas and I am looking to apply under EB2.
Can somebody provide some light on that as to pausing prevailing wages till 10/1/11?? Does not make sense to me as that would create a backlog.
