Please suggest - Returing USA after 1 year - shall I go for stamping or come directly

Hi,

I have my existing VISA from company A valid till 30 Sept 2007.

I got my VISA transfered to company B in July 2006. Now my new VISA is valid till 2009.

I came to INDIA on 10 Aug 2006. I am planning to comeback in 2007 Sept 2nd week.

Now my query is
a. should I go to consulate in chennai and get stamped on new VISA before flying or
b. should I come directly with my existing VISA and get stamped in USA.

Please suggest.

I am also not aware of procedure in either cases, so please tell me the procedure and the documents I would require.
