Hi All,
I have an urgent question for which I would request your input.
I am scheduled to get my US passport ( through expedited service ) about 2 weeks from now.
After that I want to get my PIO card as soon as possible. I need the PIO card and an Entry visa will not work.
The problem is I cannot seem to get an in-person appointment at BLS International NYC office immediately after my US passport. I can get it only after another 2 weeks.
My questions are ;
1. Does anyone know if I have to take an appointment in BLS NYC office if I am a resident of NY ?
OR can I take an appointment at BLS Washington office ?
2. Does anyone have any experience with BLS International NYC office for a PIO card ?
Is there any other way to expedite it and / or do a walk-in there for the urgency of my need ?
3. In the online application form for PIO : It is asking for a passport number. Is it my Indian passport number or my US passport number. The problem is that I wont have my US passport number until I actually get the passport 2 weeks from now.
