I'm Canadian and have been asked by US colleges and companies to come down and do speaking engagements (usually one hour talk per college or company). Basically flying in to do the talk and flying back home to Canada.
In order to get paid, do I still need a visa even if the college or company can pay in the name of my company business (presently a sole proprietorship in Canada but can change to a corporation in the future)?
