Non immigrant visa denied - any issue for DV?

Hi i was declined the working visa once in 2009 by US embassy in Nepal. And i won dv lottery in 2015 and i'm current for march. Does thing will have any impact on Diversity visa interview ??

Generally no, the earlier NIV denial doesn't impact the DV process. The most common reason for the NIV is failing to prove you will return to your home country. You don't mention why your visa application was refused, but guessing it was that, then that would be no issue. However, without knowing why the earlier visa application was denied it is impossible to say for sure.

Yes. They said i didn't have enough proof to show them, that i will return back....

Yes exactly. The reason for the previous denial is irrelevant for a DV case.

He said "I've been denied a tourist visa before bcuz u didn't hv a enough proof UL cme bck to ur country n not having enough funds..."

So NO - this is not a problem - as it is exactly the same as the case and answer given above.
